What are animated Sukuk?
Having problems with the Arabic terminology? Newcomers to the industry are faced with a bewildering variety of unfamiliar Sharia’a contracts and confusing terminology, even for finance professionals. Much of this terminology comes from Arabic. These animated slides illustrate the meaning of these terms and fits them into the financing context. The learning methodology takes the form of a dialogue between a scholar (Arabic speaker) and a newcomer to the industry (non-Arabic speaker).
